On Tuesday the 17th of March at 6:00pm AEDT the Sweltering Cities team is hosting a Summer Survey 2026 report-back online event.
We will deep dive into the stories, ideas and solutions you all shared with us in this years survey for cooler homes, suburbs and cities.
If you've read the survey report and have questions, or would prefer to hear the results rather than read them, then this event is for you. We'll be sharing new details from around the country, including some powerful statistics about age, different states and people in low energy efficiency homes.
Over 2400 of you shared your stories with us in this year's Summer Survey, the biggest response we've ever gotten! Now, we want to put your stories into action.
We’ll be doing more than just looking at the data. We’ll unpack the stories behind the statistics we collected, and explore the creative ideas we heard from across the country, and how we can come together and mobilise our communities into action.
We'll hear from the Sweltering Cities team, who are working in different parts of the country about what they've learned from the survey results, and how you can get involved.
It’ll be a great opportunity to connect with others in your local area who care about making their communities more resilient to extreme heat.
