Join us for a walk, roll, or stroll around Lakemba Town Centre to learn about what makes a heat-safe city! 

We will be observing the ways in which local planning affects our ability to be heat-resilient communities, and noting how our local architecture can keep us cool, or contribute to the urban heat island effect. 

We will be meeting at the train replacement bus stop on Lakemba's main road, and embark on a short route around the town centre (under 2kms). We expect it to be warm, so remember to pack a water bottle, a hat, and wear some good walking shoes.
