CAFNEC is teaming up with Doctors for the Environment, the Red Cross and Centacare to create a community event for all ages! 

Join us on Saturday the 7th of December at the Cairns Esplanade for a fun event where we will explore Heat hazards in our region and the best way to stay safe and build resilience for our communities! 

We will have specialist talks, information stalls, live music and kids activities and, to kick off the event, we will go on Sweltering Cities's "Cool Walk", to explore and learn about Urban Heat in our city!
